Lactation Support
Our practice offers lactation support with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Services include:

• Free 30 minute prenatal breastfeeding planning Q&A sessions for current clients
• Comprehensive outpatient lactation appointments available for all lactating parents (not just MWHC clients)
• Breast pump help and education, flange fitting
• Breast engorgement treatment with therapeutic breast massage for lactation
• Combination feeding (breast and bottle or breastmilk and formula feeding)
• Formula feeding and choice assistance

This support is available to anyone who needs it – past, current and new clients. Visits are available in person or via tele-health during day or evening hours. Most insurance companies will cover a visit with a lactation consultant.
