Midwifery & Women’s Health Care
Midwifery and Women’s Health Care at Geneva Woods (MWHC) has provided full-scope midwifery and gynecologic services to women and their families since its inception in 1995. We provide:
- midwifery care that combines modern and traditional approaches
- well woman services: including annual exams, STI treatment, contraception, paps and other screenings
- primary care services: management and treatment of common ailments
- community birth at the Anchorage Birth Center (our nationally accredited birth center)
- hospital birth at Providence Alaska Medical Center (including vaginal births after cesarean)
- lactation support and classes
- childbirth education classes
- mental health counseling
